Financial Secretary & Treasurer,

Audrey Johnson


Audrey was born and raised in Yonkers; attended Yonkers Public Schools and St. Mary's Catholic Religious School.  She earned her extra credit from Candy Stripping at St. Joseph's Hospital before graduating from Yonkers HS and went on to Tefft Business School, where she studied Business/Finances & Business Law.  She went on to Mercy College, where she studied Real Estate Law and Real Estate Law.  She held several jobs while going to school.  Upon completion of earning her Real Estate License, she joined Century 21 for her internship.


In 1982, she went to Dollar Dry Dock Savings Bank and worked as a Temp and then in 1984, she became a permanent employee in the Tax Dept. as a Foreclosure Specialist.  In 1995, she worked at John Alden Insurance & Investment Co. and in 1997, she went to work for LERETA, LLC  and she currently works there in Real Estate.  Since 2005, Audrey began volunteering in the community.  She joined the Yonkers African American Heritage Committee and became the Treasurer immediately.  After two years, she took the seat of Financial Secretary which she currently holds along with several appointed positions: Nominating Chairperson, Journal Chairperson and Scholarship  Chairperson.


Audrey joined the Improved Benevolent Protective Order Elks of World under the umbrella of Community Seunset Temple #1132 in 2005, where she served several seats: (2005)Doorkeeper,  (2006)Treasurer, (2105-2018)Daughter Ruler, (2018-2019)Trustee, (2019-present)Asst. Daughter Ruler.  Her accomplishments include: (2007) Past State Presidents Council, (2008-2014)Asst. Vice Loyal Dgt. Temple, (2009) Appointed Community & Publicity Director.  Honors: Community Service Award, Mayor of Yonkers (2013)- Woman of The Year, James H. Farrell Lodge (2013).
